Another crash on Penn Bridge Road injures Dade County Woman

A single vehicle crash Wednesday night December 5th on Penn Bridge Road right past the bridge injured a Dade County woman and entrapped her. Chattooga County Sheriff's Office, Redmond EMS Trion, Summerville and Hays Fire departments responded to the crash and found a 2006 Nissan Altima on it's side with a female still entrapped. The female was extracted and transported to Redmond Hospital with minor injuries. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the single vehicle crash. In another crash on Penn Bridge Road near the bridge The Summerville News reported in the early morning hours of November 5th 26-year-old Tunnel Hill woman was hospitalized after crashing her gray 2007 Ford Explorer when she lost control negotiating a curve on Penn Bridge Road. The impact of the crash resulted in the female being trapped until emergency workers could extricate her. She was taken by ambulance to Floyd Medical Center for her injuries.



In a single vehicle crash on September 3rd a Trion man escaped injuries after flipping his 2001 Infinti I30 in the curve right past the bridge on Penn Bridge Road. Georgia State Patrol investigated the single vehicle crash as well.


Another crash injured a female passenger after she bit her tongue when a truck she was riding was traveling to fast for conditions and crashed into the ditch near the curve right past the bridge on Penn Bridge Road.
