According to a Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On November 6th, 2022, at 12:23 AM, Deputies Findley and Diak were dispatched to an address on Reno Way in reference to a domestic disturbance. The victim advised she was in the kitchen cleaning and listening to music on the radio. She stated her husband (Tito David Juarez-Perez, 31, of Dalton) became enraged by the music and slammed the radio against the wall destroying it. According to the report, “Deputy Findley observed the radio still lying on the floor, broken. The victim stated she then argued with Tito. The victim stated Tito then grabbed her around the neck and pushed her up against the wall, “choking” her.” The victim stated she was eventually able to push Tito off and attempted to run out of the house for help. Tito quickly grabbed the back of her shirt and pulled her back so she was unable to escape. The victim then had to push Tito back off of her, and then she was able to run outside and call 911. According to the report, “Deputy Findley observed the victim had a red marking on the left side of her neck. The victim also had severe scratch marks on her back from where Tito grabbed her shirt. Tito had left the scene prior to deputies arriving, warrants for aggravated assault (Family Violence), false imprisonment (Family Violence), criminal trespass-damage to property less than $500 (family violence), cruelty to children- 3rd degree allow to witness family violence were issued for Tito. On November 8th, 2022, Tito was booked into the Whitfield County Jail.
