Dalton man arrested for DUI again after crashing vehicle and being found passed out drunk in yard

According to Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office incident report, On July 7th, 2023, at 11:14 AM, Deputy Cobb and Deputy Vazquez were dispatched to an address on City View Street in reference to a Prowler Report. Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with Miguel Domingo – Pascual, 45, of Dalton. According to the report, “Deputy Cobb observed Mr. Domingo-Pascual lying face down in the front yard at the victim’s residence. Deputy Cobb observed Mr. Domingo-Pascual lying in the puddle of throw-up. Deputy Cobb also observed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Mr. Domingo-Pascual’s person. Deputy Vazquez made contact with the homeowner. She advised Deputy Vazquez that Mr. Domingo-Pascual came to her residence and advised her he needed help because he wrecked his car and then he fell asleep in her yard. She also advised that Mr. Domingo-Pascual was outside of her residence screaming and using vulgar language. Deputy Cobb and Deputy Vazquez then observed Mr. Domingo-Pascual holding onto a box of 12 16oz. Michelob Ultras with only 4 left inside of the pack. The box had been ripped open on the top.” Domingo-Pascual was placed under arrest. Domingo-Pascual had to be helped to the patrol vehicle because he could not walk on his own. Deputy Vazquez then located a Maroon 1997 Ford Explorer that had left the roadway and stopped on an embankment. Deputy Cobb and Deputy Vazquez observed several opened of 12 16oz. Michelob Ultras and a cat inside the vehicle. Domingo-Pascual refused to take the state test and to talk with law enforcement. Domingo-Pascual gave deputies a fake date of birth and name. Domingo-Pascual correct information was eventually obtained, and he was found to have an active warrant for failure to appear. Domingo-Pascual was booked into the Whitfield County Jail, charged with failure to appear warrant with the original charges of striking a fixed object, driving with a suspended license, and DUI. Domingo-Pascual was charged with DUI, driving while license are revoked, failure to maintain lane, leaving the Scene of an accident, open container, false name and date of birth, and public drunkenness. The cat was transported and turned over to a relative.
