According to the Georgia State Patrol Public Information Director, “The following are preliminary details as the crash is still under investigation. On Monday, October 30, 2023, at 3:15 p.m., Troopers from Post 5 Dalton responded to a two-vehicle head-on crash on Graysville Road just north of Gentry Road in Catoosa County. Lisa Renee Headrick, 52, of Chattanooga, was heading south when she traveled off the west side of the roadway while negotiating a curve. Her vehicle got back on the road and entered the northbound lane, where she struck a Dodge Ram truck driven by a 23-year-old Ringgold man head-on. Headrick wasn’t responsive to EMT workers and law enforcement, who performed CPR on her. Headrick was pronounced dead on the scene, and her family has now been notified. The man in the Dodge pickup truck went to the hospital with a suspected broken wrist.
